Today's Chart is US Gas prices. The average national price is $1.97. In December of 2008 prices were as low as $1.88 but they rebounded quickly. Being that low was due to the commodities bubble bursting and just like how bubbles are characteristically overdone on the upside, they get overdone on the downside and that was the case then. The current low prices, however, are a result of excessive supply in the oil markets so I would think they will remain around current levels for the near future.
